too pretty to leave out Posted by Hello

So much happening

C comes home and says time to get a new car, and my minds in a spin, do I dare ask for my dream car? Well I did and it has been ordered and I can't sleep I'm so excited.... Off to the footy today to watch number two son play, I watch and pray nothing will happen to him and he enjoys himself which is what it is all about I guess. Number one son has just dropped in to borrow his dad's guitar, " going camping mum and they want some entertainment " he says. Big wedding on next week 200 or so expected so that's a lot of decorating but I'm really looking forward to it.

one section of the backdrop. Posted by Hello

wedding backdrop

Finally nearly finished the backdrop. All that's left is the hemming, then I'll be back in the garden. Flanders poppie seeds have popped their heads through and mondo grass is liking it's new home. Another perfect day here and I can't wait to get outside.

Today is sewing day

No time for gardening today as I must sew a wedding backdrop for upcoming wedding. The backdrop will be three sections of 4metres wide x 2:08 drop made out of a beautiful material called Charmous, then a swag along the top made out of crystal organzer, hopefully it should look good. Lovely sunny day here, but alas I'll only see the sun through my windows.

the liquidambar Posted by Hello

A wander around the Garden

Wandered around pulling out the odd weed, completely ignoring one bed that needs a mighty amount of attention, I will get there eventually. Decided on a visit to Chloe, and came home with
the forgotten swan bush seeds of last week plus a perenial snap dragon. ( such a delightful name)
Thankyou Chloe. This is a photo of my Liquid Ambar tree that suffered a very tough beginning
when first planted, but is now one of my favourite trees with it's twisted branches.
